Steinway & Sons 2011 “O” Conservatory Grand

With the understanding that not every pianist wants a new piano, we work very hard to maintain an assortment of used pianos ranging from entry-level verticals to world-class performance grands.

At this writing, we are fortunate to have acquired an uncommonly large number of slightly used and fully rebuilt Steinway grands.

Steinway’s Model O has an interesting history.

The O was built in both New York and Hamburg until 1924 when the New York factory replaced it with a newly designed model L, leaving Hamburg to continue producing the O.  Although very similar, the L had a slightly broader tail to enhance the low-end tone with a slightly larger soundboard.  In 2005, as part of a move to unify production between both factories, Steinway re-introduced the model O in New York, discontinuing the L.

The 5’ 10.75” conservatory-size O is regarded highly by both professional and talented amateur pianists.  It is often found in institutional and private teaching studios, churches, and small venues.

This model O was well-maintained and is in excellent condition, with many years of musical life remaining.  Perfect for a serious pianist at any level desiring a modern Steinway grand at a more affordable price.
