However, it’s not that uncommon for a skilled artisan to change the finish as they fully restore the piano, as is the case with this instrument.

This M has been fully rebuilt with all the mechanical elements necessary to bring it back to peak performance levels.

At 5’ 7” the M is small enough for most living rooms, but it often found its way into the studios of prominent teachers both private and institutional.  Regardless of its special finish, this piano is appropriate for a serious pianist at any level who desires a handcrafted Steinway for substantially less than new.
