Young Chang G185 Conservatory Grand #2

This is one of two G185 grands currently on hand.

Like Yamaha before them, Young Chang was able to bring high quality, good value pianos into the North American market at much more affordable prices than their American, Japanese, and European competitors at the time.  They grew rapidly starting in the 1970s and continued expanding and innovating into the 21^st Century.

The G-series pianos from this period came from the factory in S. Korea which many feel are superior to the Indonesian and Chinese instruments that came later.

This 6’ 1” G-185 is considered a conservatory size grand.  It was kept in good condition by its original owners.  For a more serious beginner, intermediate, or even advanced player on a budget, it would be a great choice.  A conservatory grand produces a very rich, wide tonal palette that is quite satisfying for any pianist.
