Yamaha P600QA Professional Gallery American Studio

Not many pianists are aware that Yamaha made designer versions of their world-famous P22 institutional studio — the P600 Professional Gallery Collection — in their famous Thomaston, Georgia factory.  The P600 pianos have the same mechanics and tone producing materials as the P22 but are housed in elegant decorator cabinets with fine natural veneers.

And as we’ve stated many times before, we love these American-made vertical pianos for their quality, durability, and especially the tone and touch.

This P600QA is a Queen Anne style in a rich brown cherry veneer (notice the gorgeous burled walnut book matched overlay on the music holder!).  Although intended for private home use, this piano has all the hallmarks of a professional studio.
