Schimmel W-123T Professional Upright

The Wilhelm line of Schimmel pianos is intended as an entry point for the company’s lauded European sound: a bell-like singing treble and midrange, and a rich, dynamic bass and tenor.  These are more affordable than the Konzert and Classic lines because they are assembled in Schimmel’s second factory in Kalisz, Poland, where labor and production costs are lower than Germany.  Rims, soundboards, and strings are from Germany; cabinet parts are sourced in Poland, and the Schimmel-designed actions, using Renner hammers, are custom made by their strategic partner, Pearl River.
