Gulbransen GQ42 “Petite” Baby Grand

Gulbransen was an American company formed in the early 20^th Century that was known for its player piano mechanisms.  Like many other piano builders from this era, they experienced several ownership changes.  By 1985 many of their pianos were being produced by the S. Korean mega-builder Samick.

This GQ42 was built in Samick’s well-know S. Korean factory which was producing high quality affordable pianos during this time.  It was kept in great condition.

At just 4’ 8” in length, it is often referred to as a petite baby grand.  It will take up the least space and fit in many smaller rooms making this an excellent choice for a budget-minded player with limited space who desires the touch of a grand action.
