Essex by Steinway EGP155 Baby Grand

Steinway has partnered with several well-known manufacturers to produce more affordable models compared to the handmade pianos coming from the New York factory. These pianos are built in limited quantities to Steinway’s specific scale designs.

The Essex line is intended mostly for the home.  However, because of the design improvements these pianos can easily cross over to light-duty institutional use, such as a classroom or in a private teaching studio.

The 5’ 1” EGP155 Model is a classic baby grand, ideal for a small music room.  Its deeper tone, and wider dynamics compared to most baby grands make it an excellent choice for a pianist wanting to upgrade to a richer playing experience from a vertical piano.
