Baldwin was one of the great American builders throughout the 20th Century, known for handmade performance artist grands and reliable, long-lasting studio, console, and spinet vertical pianos.

The Model R was very popular in both institutions, teaching studios, and living rooms.  At 5′ 8″, it’s large enough to produce the subtle dynamics required by a serious/enthusiastic pianist yet does not take up much more room than a typical baby grand.

It was maintained in good condition and would be a superb upgrade from a digital or vertical action, or a smaller baby grand.
