On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give Classic Pianos and Fred Riley a 10 if I could.
I bought a Bosendorfer 200 CS from Classic Pianos, with Fred's assistance, in 2015, after spending an entire afternoon trying it out and mulling it … More over. It was a wonderful, pressure free experience, especially considering the competitive but still significant price of the piano. (I had done my research prior to arriving at the showroom and immediately loved the piano.)
So when I was recently thinking about trading in my now nine-year old Bosendorfer for a Yamaha S series piano with a Disklavier system installed, the first place I checked was Classic Pianos. And lucky me, they had one at just the right price! Prior to checking out the piano in person, I had done my homework to determine that the asking price was fair. And thanks to Classic Piano’s Five Star Trade-Up Policy, I knew I wouldn’t have to haggle over the value of my trade-in.
When I showed up to check out the piano, Fred remembered me!
Since I was so specific about what I was looking for, Fred showed me the piano, answered a few questions, gave me a brief intro to the piano, and then left me to try it out on my own. No pushy sales pitch, just an exchange of informative questions and answers, a sharing of useful information, and regular checking back to see if I had any more questions.
After playing the Yamaha for several hours at their showroom, I still wasn't sure about trading in my familiar and beloved Bosendorfer. I was also concerned that the acoustics of the showroom were so different from my home that I wasn’t getting a proper preview of what the Yamaha would sound like at home. Then Fred offered to let me try out the Yamaha in my home, where I could do a direct comparison of the two pianos in the actual sound environment in which I would play them!
My ultimate decision to buy the Yamaha was difficult, but thanks to the opportunity to hear the two pianos side by side in my own living room, and get input from friends, I was able to feel confident that I had made the right decision. -

Classic Pianos held a great Master Class this past Sunday, followed with a piano concert. The pianist, Darin Niebuhr, gave a memorable performance with a compendium of very diverse pieces. It was a breath of fresh air listening to such … More a talented concert pianist in Darin, and Bob Baker, the manager of Classic Pianos, organized this event beautifully. Bob and his friendly staff made this a great time!
Being an amateur classical pianist, it was a treat. So appreciated! Thanks to everyone at Classic Pianos Jen Farley -

I have had the great honor and pleasure of working with Bob Baker at Classic Pianos for decades. He is a gem. He and the team at Classic assist teachers and students with not only the purchase of quality instruments, but through a dedication … More to children and music education. Bob and Classic provide pianos at minimal cost for events in the community to give children the opportunity to perform in many different venues and purposes. As well, Bob helps teacher's students find appropriate pianos for their specific needs and budgets. Bob listens to what you need and provides pathways for achieving the goals. I can't recommend him and Classic Pianos enough.Kellie Johannik MA

Working with Classic Pianos on our recent upgrade was so easy, I almost can't believe it. While deciding between a baby grand and an upright, Mark went above and beyond to make sure we ended up with the perfect instrument for our needs … More and the space constraints since we live in a historic home. He came to our house with paper templates, let us into the showroom after-hours to see pianos in person, and provided us with a loaner piano while we waited for our model to arrive. We are absolutely thrilled with our new piano and couldn't recommend Classic Pianos more. 5 stars!

If you’re looking for a piano in the Denver area, look no further. I didn't have much of an understanding of what I was looking for in my first piano but the team at Classic Pianos was incredibly accommodating, taking as much time … More and care as needed to educate me on the process and the different options. No detail was left out. Their lifetime trade-up policy is one of a kind and shows a true dedication to the music community in Denver. I left with an amazing piano that fits my needs, connections to highly recommended instructors in my neighborhood, and even an option to switch piano colors if I didn’t like it once in the home. One of the best purchasing experiences I’ve ever had and loving the piano so far. Cannot recommend enough. Big shoutout to Mark, Bob, Stacy and team for all the help!!
